Coming Fall 2025, Campus Recreation is getting a fresh new look! The main entrance off Tiger Way, part of Fitness Floor 1, and an area of the main gallery will be transformed into the Student Health and Well-being hub. This area will provide comprehensive resources, access to professional staff, and supportive services designed to promote the holistic well-being and success of Towson University students.
“Rooted in TU’s four pillars of well-being—mind, body, community, and purpose—this space will foster meaningful conversations, collaborative initiatives, and holistic well-being opportunities. It’s more than just a location—it’s a launchpad for a healthier, more connected campus experience,” said Grady Sheffield, Director, Towson Campus Recreation.
“We will be able to significantly expand our educational programming and awareness initiatives, addressing critical issues like mental health, stress management, healthy relationships, and resilience,” said Dr. Nora Clark-Giles, Assistant Vice President of Student Health and Well-being.
The anticipated completion of the project is the Spring 2026 semester.
